Johannes Somary was a conductor.
Somary taught at prep school Horace Mann until he retired in 2002. In 2012 an investigation in the New York Times uncovered decades of sexual abuse. A following 2014 lawsuit was allowed to proceed in New Jersey, which has looser statute of limitations. Somary was already deceased by the time the allegations were published.
