William VerMeulen plays horn.
VerMeulen retired from Shepherd School of Music in 2024 after allegedly sending students unsolicited naked pictures of himself, which were then published on social media. In 2025 further allegations of sexual misconduct emerged, including one from 1997. As of June 2025, he still serves as principal horn of Houston Symphony.
